Privacy statement

OranjeLease (a trade name of Tatev Auto B.V., Chamber of Commerce , Nijverheidsweg 7, 3641 RP Mijdrecht) is the data controller for the personal data you share with us through this website or in a lease application. This statement applies from 26 September 2026.

Which data and why

For a lease application we process your name, contact details, company details (Chamber of Commerce), date of birth, driving licence number and IBAN, plus the details of the requested vehicle and the calculation. Legal basis: performance of the agreement or pre-contractual steps at your request. For a contact message we process your name, e-mail, phone number and message in order to reply (legitimate interest).

  • Assessing and forwarding your application to a lease company
  • Contact about your application, quote or vehicle
  • Registration, delivery and administration
  • Fraud and abuse prevention (IP address, technical form characteristics)

Sharing with third parties

We share your application with the lease company (or companies) assessing the financing; they are independent data controllers and check the Dutch credit register (BKR). Otherwise we only share data with processors working for us (hosting, e-mail, CRM) under a data processing agreement, and with the Dutch vehicle authority (RDW) for registration.

Retention periods

Applications that do not lead to an agreement are kept for a maximum of 12 months. Customer data is kept for the duration of the agreement and for 7 years afterwards (statutory tax retention). Contact messages are kept for a maximum of 12 months.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection. Send your request to info@oranjelease.nl; we respond within a month. You can also lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
